"4 Hours of Adrenaline"

It was so
much fun the last Three years....we're doing it again!
Our Festival of Fun + BBQ + Awards + Prizes is a shortened low-key
version of team relay events popular with mountain bikers everywhere.
Info: Teams of 4 Riders each "ride in
pairs" (2) on a marked 4 mile course, changing "team pairs" (2)
after each lap. Teams completing the most laps in their 4 hour segment,
at a monitored "Brisk Recreational Pace" [***] (ie: 30 - 60 minutes
per lap) and the posted rules, will be declared winners in each class. Ties
will be broken by time differentials.

Challenge...But it's NOT a Race!!
Classes: (A) All Stars, Guys Team
(G) All Gals Teams,
(M)
Iron Men or Gals(2)
(L)
Lottery (riders not on above teams)
(H)
"Over-the-Hill" (45+)
(CE) Co-ed Teams (2M & 2F)
Note: Teams short a rider will be accepted and
have riders added by us. Event day substitutions O.K.
Important:
Pre-Registration
Required (4/1-4/27) due to limited entry and determine start times!
Entry limited to first 25 teams
Entry: FREE to everyone! Non-members will be accepted to encourage new club memberships.
Be prepared to provide
"Team
Name & Class, Riders Names, STM Member? Y/N" at sign-up! Anything goes
for team names provided it's PC and short! To encourage participation; Teams
will be accepted with less than 4 riders. Individuals not on a team will be
added to teams needing riders or will become members of a (L) Lottery Team.
Pre-Registration is required and will be accepted
from April 1st - 28th.

Timetable:
8:00 - 9:30 AM (at site) Sign up and teams organization.
9:30 -Mandatory Riders Meeting
10:00 AM First Team Pair Start, followed by Team Pairs at timed intervals.
1:30 (+ start time interval) Last riders on course.
2:00 (+start time interval) Finish Scoring
2:00 PM FREE BBQ!!
3:00 PM Prize Drawing and Awards!!
Bring: lawn chair, favorite beverages, water, snacks, helmet!
Donations to the STM Trail Maintenance Fund
will be gladly accepted!
Bring a lawn chair, your favorite beverage...and extra water
& energy snacks!
Note: If you have any unused prizes from
past events, etc. that you don't want, please bring them to fatten up our prize
swag (even if it's dorky).
