STMCC CHRISTMAS PARTY 2002
T'was the Night (actually several nights) Before Christmas...
On
the evening of Dec 7th, as I made the rounds checking on who's been
naughty and nice, I spied a group of about 45 revelers gathered for the
Annual STM Christmas Party in a cozy party room at the Milton Tavern.
They elected club officers for 2003, ate lots-o-pizza, drank a variety of
naughty dark brews, exchanged gifts, and socialized with a lot of their
riding buddies.
Outgoing
prez, Ralph, was presented with a saw-like bike crank-set to hopefully
speed up his trail clearing activities on club rides! STM founder, Mike
Curley, was elected President for the third time, Pat Sprouse VP, Julia Schozen
Sec, & Kathy Edick Treasurer.
(No more new bikes, Dave).
Joe
& Sue Krezelak are your newly appointed Ride Coordinators (they turn
out for most rides anyway), Jim Grill is your Webmaster, and Tony Picardo
continues as Newsletter Editor.
It seemed like a FUN evening and a good
indication that STM is as strong as ever and will continue to be the
ACTIVE mountain bike club!
Most
of the partygoers were nice...but I did see a few naughty ones, too (and
they'll find out who they were on Christmas morning!).
